【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwotypesandtwogradesof2-and3-wire,uncoatedsteelstrandforuseinpretensionedandposttensionedprestressedconcreteconstruction.Thetwotypesofstrandarelow-relaxationandstress-relieved(normal-relaxation).Low-relaxationshallberegardedasthestandardtype.Stress-relieved(normal-relaxation)strandwillnotbefurnishedunlessspecificallyordered,orbyarrangementbetweenpurchaserandsupplier.Thetwogradesare1725(250)and1860(270).Grades250and270haveminimumtensilestrengthsof1725MPa(250ksi)and1860MPa(270ksi)respectively,basedonthenominalareaofthestrand.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
