本标准规定了在水中使用或与水接触的固定式灯具的安全要求，如游泳池水槽、喷水池、划水池和花园水池中使用钨丝灯泡的灯具。注：游泳池的电气安装规范可参阅IEC 364-7-702《建筑物的电气安装 第7部分 特定场所安装要求702章 游泳池》。本标准不包括不与水接触的灯具（例如：安装在与灯具分开的玻璃板后面）或手提式灯具。本标准与GB 7000.1-1996的有关章一起使用。
