【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesgeneralprinciplesfortheverificationofthereliabilityofstructuressubjectedtoknownorforeseeabletypesofaction.Reliabilityisconsideredinrelationtotheperformanceofthestructurethroughoutitsdesignworkinglife.Thegeneralprinciplesareapplicabletothedesignofcompletestructures(buildings,bridges,industrialstructures,etc.),thestructuralelementsmakingupthestructureandthefoundations.ThisInternationalStandardisalsoapplicabletothesuccessivestagesinconstruction,namelythefabricationofstructuralelements,thetransportandhandlingofthestructuralelements,theirerectionandallworkonsite,aswellastheuseofthestructureduringitsdesignworkinglife,includingmaintenanceandrepair.Toallowforthedifferencesindesignpracticebetweendifferentcountries,thenationalstandardsorcodesofpracticemaybesimplerormoredetailedincomparisonwiththisInternationalStandard.Generallytheprinciplesarealsoapplicabletothestructuralappraisalofexistingconstructionsorassessingchangesofuse.Howeverinsomerespectsthisisassociatedwithspecialaspectsofthebasicvariablesandcalculationmodels.Suchaspectsareconsideredinclause10.NOTE-WhenthisInternationalStandardisappliedinaparticularcountryforthedevelopmentofitsstandards,itisadmissiblenottousethoseclauseswhicharenotinaccordancewiththeregulationsofthatparticularcountry.
